This sleeping bag is a great value. It is a huge (roomy) hybrid style incorporating the best features of both mummy and cabin style bags. The problem is that it is not by any means a "zero degree" bag.Simply put, it is a great three season bag. I am a retired army instructor, who currently operates a small outfitting company so I'm no stranger sleeping in the cold. DO NOT expect this bag to keep you toasty warm below 40 degrees. Everything else about this bag is flawless; zippers, drawstrings, pillow (included, stuff sack, and lining. I have used this bag twice with temps in the teens/twenties. The first time I was sleeping on a cheap foam mat on the ground and simply could not stay warm. The second time I tested it I was sleeping on a cot with a 4" foam mattress and the results were no better. In zero degree weather this bag will keep you from freezing to death, but that's about it. This sleeping bag was a wedding shower gift. The price was excellent, it arrived in a timely manner, and the happy couple was happy with the gift. They especially like that you can zip two bags together!
